Society for the Study of Women Philosophers
SSWP is a network of teachers and scholars dedicated to conducting research on women philosophers, past and present. Founded in 1987 by Veda Cobb-Stevens at the annual meeting of the Eastern Division of the American Philosophical Association, SSWP now holds sessions each year at the APA, unearthing the work of women philosophers from the ancient period to the present day.
